Arabic (Saudi Arabia and some provinces) 
The Saudi math book in the example on the right shows \(pi\) in Arabic context. \(??^2\) means the square of circle's area radius and \(?\) (TAH) means \(pi\) which is approximately equal to 3.14.

English 
We find in the English precalculus book the example in page A-152 represents \(pi\).
